Cherie Lock shares, here's an update on my Mom. She's home recuperating from her hospital stay. She's feeling a lot better and thanks the church for all their prayers. Results won't be in until next week, but we're trusting in God that they will be good.
Thanks again church family. My Mom says she knows it was the prayers of the saints that got her thru.

Let Us Continue To Keep in Prayer Those In Our Church Family Who Have Lost Loved Ones, And Those Who Are Sick & Shut-In.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Regeneration Sabbath School

Regeneration Sabbath School is a 12-step recovery approach to the Sabbath School Lesson. While studying the Sabbath School Lesson church members find enlightening biblical concepts to support and encourage willing individuals to allow God to remove character defects in their lives. These character defects block the Spirit of God from its purpose in renewing our lives in Christ Jesus. When the defects are removed by prayer and fasting they are replaced by Christ’s character which participants find to be their covering. All this is done by a surrendered individual and the powerful work of the Spirit of God. It is the cleansing of the body’s sanctuary. Church members find tools to keep themselves covered by learning how characters in the Bible have surrendered their lives to the will of God and how to remain in the righteousness of Christ until His coming. It is a bold and honest approach of faith in their Savior correlated with the work that’s needed to remain cleansed. God has made a way. Members also learn about Regeneration Ministry, a 12 step support group that binds us beautifully in our efforts to remain in Jesus Christ. The meeting is at 4pm every Sabbath afternoon and all are welcomed. For more information you may contact the group ChooseLife@rpcsda.org or call Yolanda C. at 301-717-8970.
